Although our company is rather young regarding its foundation date, Kontrat is a quarter of a century old regarding the experience of its founders. Because of this attribute, we are successful in the projects we have worked on to this day as a combination of vast experience along with youthful dynamism allows us to make a difference. Who We Are
Hicri Uluçay
Chairman of the Board
Born in 1960 in the southeastern Anatolian city of Adıyaman to a draper father. He completed his studies in civil engineering at Çukurova University and started his professional career in the construction of Atatürk Dam, which was listed in international construction publications as the world's largest construction site and was completed in a world record time of around 50 months. Uluçay, who has been in various positions and managed various infrastructure and technological building projects, notably Eczacıbaşı Construction and Atatürk Dam project, for 33 years, Founded Kontrat Construction in 2004 based on his experiences in land reclamation, basic piling, renovation, infrastructure and superstructure.
